ESMO 2024!

Two of our medical oncologists and PhD candidates, Dr Lucy Haggstrom and Dr Julia Chen, attended the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, 2024, in Barcelona, Spain. This huge conference (of 34,000 attendees!) was a great place to hear about new data and learn about everything cancer-related. Julia presented her PhD work, while Lucy presented her prior research on ovarian cancer: “How long is long enough? An international survey exploring long term outcomes and practice variations on the recommended duration of maintenance therapy with PARP inhibitors in patients with platinum sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer.”
